Solid or perforated shelves – which should I choose?

Solid shelves are best for small parts, chemicals, or leak-prone containers. Perforated allow vertical airflow through all tiers, eliminating dead-air zones – ideal for pharmaceutical and semiconductor cleanrooms. Both are available.

What material do you use – 304 or 316L?

Standard is 304. If your environment involves high chlorides or strong acids, we recommend upgrading to 316L for superior corrosion resistance.

Is 300 kg per shelf real?

Yes, standard design guarantees 300 kg per shelf, achieved through reinforced beams and thick-wall tubing. For even higher loads, we can further strengthen the structure – just let us know.

Mirror-polished vs brushed – which is better?

Mirror-polished offers high gloss, easy wipe-down, but shows fingerprints more easily. Brushed has a satin, matte appearance, more scratch-resistant and hides daily wear. Both meet cleanroom particle requirements – choose based on your preference. We offer both.

Can I get mobile shelving?

Yes, we offer optional 5″ cleanroom casters (nylon or stainless steel) with brakes for easy movement and positioning.

Do shelves come assembled?

Open shelving is typically shipped flat-packed with assembly instructions. We can pre-assemble upon request (shipping volume will increase).

How much weight can wall-mounted shelves hold?

Standard wall-mounted shelves are rated for ≤150 kg per shelf (depending on wall strength). Heavier-duty brackets can be custom-made.

Do you offer electropolishing?

Currently we offer mirror-polished and brushed finishes – not electropolished. Both finishes are more than adequate for cleanroom cleaning and particle control requirements.

Our shelving is designed for ISO 3–8 cleanrooms, particularly ISO 5–8 (GMP C/D) for daily use. For higher grades, we recommend fully welded, crevice-free construction with perforated shelves to support airflow.
