Our workbenches have always been semi-knockdown (SKD). The design works as follows:

• Base cabinets: Fully pre-assembled in our factory (because base cabinets have complex joinery). All screw holes are CNC pre-drilled.
• Knee spaces: Supplied as connecting rods and back panels, packed separately.

On site, the customer only needs to connect the base cabinets using the rods and pre-drilled holes, attach the back panel, and place the top. No drilling, no measuring, no professional tools required.

Special Support for the First Order: On-Site Ventilation Integration

Because the customer’s workshop required integration of fume hoods with ventilation – a task their local team was not familiar with – we sent 2 technicians to Zambia after the first shipment. They guided and assisted the on-site installation to ensure perfect alignment. This value-added service earned the customer’s strong trust.

Final Inspection Before Packing (Performed for All Orders)

Before each shipment, we conduct a strict final inspection inside our factory and take real photos of all components: base cabinets (pre-assembled), knee space (rods and back panels after painting), tall cabinet components, etc. The customer can join a live video call to verify. For the third order, we also have complete inspection photos available.

Freight Savings

Compared to fully assembled (one-piece shipment) products of the same size, our semi-knockdown design reduces shipping volume by approximately 40%. All three containers used this design, resulting in significant cumulative freight savings for the customer.
